The Story Behind Aligned Strength.
After graduating university in 2018, I started working a 9-5 desk job.
Within just a few months I started to notice a difference in how my body felt. My energy levels were low & I held tightness in areas of my body that I'd never experienced before. I was lifting heavy in the gym, getting strong, building muscle, but the problem was this: My body didn't feel good. I knew it was time I took a different approach. I began doing yoga, including mobility drills into my daily routine, & taking greater care of my recovery. Slowly but surely, my body began to change. My range of motion increased & with it, the tightness & stiffness that had been plaguing my body began to fade away. And with my body feeling strong, mobile, & capable, my performance (both inside & outside of the gym) went way up! I felt more confident, more free, more aligned. Aligned Strength is the culmination of what I've learnt over the years. It's a combination of the training & mobility practices that have helped me to build a body that looks good & feels great! |

Here's How Aligned

Phase 1 (Week's 1-6)
The first few weeks are about building a foundation of strength & a baseline level of mobility & flexibility. It's an opportunity to explore your body & learn where you hold any weakness & limitations. Phase 2 (Week's 7-12) With the foundations now laid, we'll start to ramp up the intensity of both your training & mobility work in the next 4 weeks. At week 6 the program is slightly altered, introducing some more advanced movements & drills. |

Track Your Progress ✓ You'll be able to keep a record of your progress as you move through the program, by tracking numbers & using video footage. This enables you to see the strength & mobility gains you'll make along the way. Pick Your Own Schedule ✓ How often and when you train is up to you! You'll have the opportunity to complete up to 3 strength sessions & 3 mobility sessions per week, but if you decide you'd like to reduce the frequency slightly, that's completely fine. |

How long does Aligned Strength last?
Aligned Strength is an 12-week online program, split into two, 6-week, phases.
How much does it cost?
Aligned Strength is a one-off payment of just £97.
What equipment will I need?
To carry out the exercises within the program you'll ideally need access to:
- Free Weights (either dumbbells, kettlebells, barbell)
- A bench
- Resistance Bands
- A pull-up bar
- A back extension / 45 degree hip extension machine

How many sessions per week are there?
You'll be set up with 3 full body strength sessions & 3 mobility sessions per week. However, I typically recommend doing mobility on a daily basis (e.g. as a warm up before strength sessions).
Who is Aligned Strength For?
Aligned Strength is for trainees with least 1-2 years of training experience. Some of the exercises require a level of technical competence, meaning it's inappropriate for someone with minimal strength training background.
